Masingill's Spain Adventure: Arrived Safe and Sound....

Strolling Down the Blvd!

So we arrived safe in San Sebastian @ 10:40 there time 4:30 our time! Ay, caramba! Somehow we missed an entire night of sleep. The plane was empty so Staci got some shut eye lounging across four seats while Ryan and I whittled the night away w/ a couple of movies and a couple of card games. We also got some good video of our flight and Staci sleeping with Ryan's GoPro. The flight into San Sebastian was beautiful w/ the mountains on ones side and the coastline on the other. Eva and Megan picked us up and drove us around town sightseeing while we waited for our apartment to be ready. The apartment is beautiful and is two blocks from Megan's place. We'll send more pictures of the apartment and views later. Megan got up early and made us lunch...potato frittata along w/ bread and some fermented apple juice (saɪdər) before we went out for a walk and to see her school. Her spanish is really pretty impressive and she certainly has made some friends. While we were walking we past several people that she knows and they conversed freely in Spanish. We are resting a bit and then off to the market to pick up some groceries. Later, around 9:00, we are going to Megan's favority place to eat. My guess is that there will be a loud crash as we fall into our beds after that....as Megan would say....haha! Out for now.
